  Lactoferrin is known for its iron-binding properties, lactoferrin enhances macrophage function, speeding up the breakdown of blood byproducts. It also promotes tissue repair and supports hyaluronic acid production for better hydration and skin recovery.

  Arnica Montana Flower Extract

  Arnica, from the Arnica montana plant, is known for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. It contains compounds like helenalin, flavonoids, sesquiterpene lactones, and thymol, which reduce swelling and bruising by promoting circulation and inhibiting inflammation. Arnica is used topically before and after cosmetic procedures to minimize swelling, while homeopathic arnica is sometimes taken orally.

  Hexapeptide-12 is one of the peptides in Alastin's Tri-Hex technology. It is a peptide that stimulates collagen production. It forms a protective film on the skin surface that helps prevent dehydration and makes skin feel smooth. It is found in antiaging products. When bound to palmitic acid to increase absorption, it is called Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12. This peptide is found as a proprietary ingredient in Alastin Skin Care called TriHex® technology.

  Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1

  Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 is one of the peptides in Alastin's Tri-Hex technology. It mimics a collagen fragment, signaling fibroblasts to stimulate collagen production, particularly types I and III. By binding to fibroblast receptors, it enhances extracellular matrix components, supporting skin repair. This leads to improved skin strength and reduced wrinkles and fine lines. This ingredient gives skin a temporary firm feeling that people love. It has a molecular weight of approximately 500 to 800 Daltons (Da) depending on formulation. If it is larger than 500 Da, it does not penetrate as well.

  Swertia Chirata Extract

  Swertia Chirata Extract, sourced from an herb in the gentian family, is known for its regenerative properties.
