The Research

To optimize the skin’s immune defense systems, desirable bacterial colonies must be evenly distributed and active. Changes to the epidermal ecosystem caused by changes to skin pH or compromised barrier function, may result in an accumulation of pathogenic Colony Forming Units (CFUs) inside pores. This may lead to clogged pores, breakouts, increased sebaceous output and a rough, dry, sensitive texture.
RATIONALE Research has identified and combined two potent yet calming actives – Salicylic Acid and Piroctone Olamine that help to restore optimal CFUs, controlling congestion and breakouts.
