Myristyl nicotinate, a skin-penetrating ester of niacinamide, delivers vitamin B3 deep into the skin. Like niacinamide, it boosts cellular energy (via NAD+), enhances microcirculation, and reduces inflammation. This supports wound healing, strengthens the barrier, and improves skin resilience.

Yes this healing lotion protects and speeds healing of any wounds and is great to make acne scabs heal faster.
No, niacinamide and myristyl nicotinate do not fade tattoo ink. While niacinamide can lighten surface pigmentation by reducing melanin transfer, tattoo ink is deposited deeper in the dermis and isn’t affected by this process. These ingredients may, however, help even out hyperpigmentation around the tattoo.
How often should I wash and moisturize during tattoo healing?
Clean your tattoo 1–3 times daily using Proteya Daily Revitalizing Facial Cleanser. Gently pat dry or let it air dry. Follow with a thin layer of an unscented, niacinamide-containing lotion—such as Proteya Tattoo Recovery Lotion—which supports skin repair without clogging pores.
