Key ingredients

Phytonadione (vitamin K)
Phytonadione (Vitamin K1) is a fat-soluble vitamin involved in blood clotting. In topical use, it may help reduce periorbital dark circles—particularly vascular-type—by aiding in the clearance of hemosiderin, the iron-rich pigment deposited from blood leakage under the eyes.

Arnica Montana Flower Extract
Arnica, from the Arnica montana plant, is known for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. It contains compounds like helenalin, flavonoids, sesquiterpene lactones, and thymol, which reduce swelling and bruising by promoting circulation and inhibiting inflammation. Arnica is used topically before and after cosmetic procedures to minimize swelling, while homeopathic arnica is sometimes taken orally.

Hordeum Distichon (barley) Extract
Hordeum Distichon (barley) extract, derived from the two-row barley plant, possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing properties. Rich in phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and polysaccharides, it helps neutralize free radicals and soothe irritated skin. Its beta-glucans enhance skin hydration by forming a protective film, supporting the skin barrier. Hordeum distichon extract is used in skincare for calming sensitive or inflamed skin, improving elasticity, and providing mild brightening effects. It may also reduce redness and protect against environmental stressors, resulting in a more resilient and balanced complexion. This extract is commonly included in formulations targeting dryness, sensitivity, or premature aging.

Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract
Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract, derived from the bark of the Amur cork tree, is known for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties. Rich in alkaloids such as berberine and palmatine, it helps reduce redness, irritation, and bacterial overgrowth on the skin. It is frequently used in formulations for acne-prone, sensitive, or inflamed skin due to its ability to inhibit pro-inflammatory cytokines. It contains alkaloids, particularly berberine and palmatine, that have potent anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties. However, their biological activity can lead to skin sensitivity in some individuals, especially in higher concentrations or when skin barrier integrity is compromised. Use with caution in dry, sensitive skin types prone to skin allergy and irritation (Type 4 sensitive skin). In some cases it can increase photosensitivity.

Gives cells energy for repair and is a strong antioxidant. Helps renew mitochondria.

Santalam Album (sandalwood) Extract
Santalum album (sandalwood) extract contains alpha- and beta-santalol, which exhibit anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It modulates TNF-α and IL-6 expression, helping calm irritation and reduce redness. Studies also suggest antioxidant activity, making it suitable for aging skin.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
Combination of hydrating coconut oil and glycerin to moisturize skin.

Glycerin (Glycerol) is the best natural moisturizing ingredient to hydrate skin quickly. May give products a sticky feel.

Glyceryl Stearate
A combination of glycerin and stearic acid to hydrate skin. A humectant and occlusive moisturizer.

Hydrogenated face oil that is more stable than squalene found in sebum.

Vitamin K supports your skin’s natural clotting process, helping reduce visible bruising—but it takes about 10 days of use to build up in the skin. That is why dermatologists recommend applying it at least 10 days before treatments like lip fillers. Arnica montana helps reduce swelling after trauma or cosmetic procedures. Used together, these ingredients prep the skin before treatment and support faster healing after.
You should wait at least 24 hours after microneedling before applying this serum. This allows the microchannels in the skin to fully close, reducing the risk of irritation or unwanted absorption of ingredients into deeper layers. Once the barrier has recovered, the vitamin K and arnica can safely support post-procedure healing, helping minimize redness, bruising, and swelling.
This has Vitamin K which may help the types of dark circles caused by deposition of hemosiderin under the eyes caused by sluggish circulation. These dark circles are reddish brown. Try it for at least 12 days to see if it brightens the eye area. If not, Revision make a Vitamin C eye serum that can help dark circles.
