What it is and what it does
This lightweight glycolic acid serum is an excellent dark spot treatment for oily skin. It exfoliates, reduces dark spots, and brightens the complexion. For oily, resistant Baumann Skin Types, it can be applied all over the face, while oily, sensitive, rosacea-prone types should use it as a spot treatment to avoid irritation.
The serum contains 10% glycolic acid for exfoliation, tranexamic acid to target hyperpigmentation, lipo-hydroxy acid for gentle exfoliation, and vitamin B5 (panthenol) to hydrate and soothe the skin. This makes it an ideal choice for addressing uneven skin tone without causing irritation.
Previously known as Mela-D Serum, it remains a strong option for reducing dark spots and discoloration.

It has 10% glycolic acid.
It does not have many moisturizing ingredients which makes it light and ideal for oily skin types. If you have dry skin and want to use this, follow it with a barrier repair moisturizer.
If you have resistant skin, apply to entire face once or twice a day. If you get red or irritated, decrease the number of times that you use it. If you have sensitive skin, start by using to the spots only one time a day. After 3 days if you have not had any irritation, you can use it 2 times a day. Note that combining it with retinol, tretinoin, adapalene or hyaluronic acid will increase the potency and risk of side effects.
