Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 is one of the peptides in Alastin's Tri-Hex technology. It mimics a collagen fragment, signaling fibroblasts to stimulate collagen production, particularly types I and III. By binding to fibroblast receptors, it enhances extracellular matrix components, supporting skin repair. This leads to improved skin strength and reduced wrinkles and fine lines. This ingredient gives skin a temporary firm feeling that people love. It has a molecular weight of approximately 500 to 800 Daltons (Da) depending on formulation. If it is larger than 500 Da, it does not penetrate as well.
Hexapeptide-12
Hexapeptide-12 is one of the peptides in Alastin's Tri-Hex technology. It is a peptide that stimulates collagen production.
