In my patients with a dry skin type who are having flaking, peeling and dryness from acne medications, this is my go to face moisturizer for these dry skin acne patients. What it is and what it does

Zerafite Barrier Repair Moisturizer is a favorite face cream of dermatologists to treat dry skin on the face. This bestselling face cream gives skin the ability to resist dehydration, even in the most arid climates. It is named after the Xerophyte species of plants (cacti) that have adapted to live in dry environments. Human skin cells are surrounded by a multi-lamellar structure composed of ceramides, fatty acids and cholesterol in a requisite 1:1:1 ratio. Disruption of this "skin barrier" leads to dehydration and susceptibility to irritation. The MLE Technology in Zerafite perfectly imitates this sophisticated lamellar structure, helping to shield the skin from irritants and preventing water from evaporating off the skin.
