This post procedure sunscreen was developed specifically for vulnerable skin following fractional and non-ablative laser treatments. It can be used after any surgical or aesthetic procedure. Its ultra-purified, deionized water base is aggressively filtered to eliminate trace heavy metals like lead, iron, and copper, which would otherwise penetrate an open skin barrier and trigger severe cellular inflammation. Formulated without chemical sunscreen filters, drying alcohols, artificial fragrances, parabens, or aggressive exfoliating acids. This recovery sunscreen does not burn or disrupt raw, injured, or healing tissue.
EltaMD Skin Recovery SPF has lactic acid in it. Will that burn my skin post procedure?
The lactic acid is very low on the ingredient list which means there is not much of it in this product. Also- this prodcut is not a low pH so the lactic acid will not be a strong acid.
