tingling sensation is too strong, you can rinse off the product after a minute. Sensitive skin types should use less
frequently. Never use hydroxyacids peels if your skin is stinging, red, or
peeling.
What ingredients are in the Derma Made AHA+BHA Peel Pads?
Derma Made AHA+BHA Peel Pads contain 20% glycolic acid (an
AHA) and 0.5% salicylic acid (a BHA). Glycolic acid exfoliates the surface of
the skin, while salicylic acid penetrates deeper to unclog pores and reduce
acne. There is no
fragrance, paraben, or formaldehyde.
Are Derma Made AHA+BHA Peel Pads suitable for sensitive skin?
Derma Made AHA+BHA Peel Pads are formulated for resistant
skin types and may cause irritation in very sensitive skin. However, they can
be great for acne-prone skin types- especially oily, acne-prone skin- if you do
not have rosacea symptoms or stinging.
Can Derma Made AHA+BHA Peel Pads help with acne?
Yes, the combination of AHA and BHA in Derma Made AHA+BHA
Peel Pads helps to exfoliate and clear pores, making them effective for
treating acne and preventing future breakouts.
Do not use these when beginning or increasing the strength of a a retinoid like retinol, tretinoin, or adapalene.
Be very careful combining this with benzoyl peroxide and other exfoliants. Over
exfoliation can cause acne purging.

These peel pads can be too irritating for rosacea-prone
skin. Try the Derma Made Medi Wash and Azelaic Acid 155 cream instead if you
