Very intriguing possibilities, but I would need to see a LOT of double-blind quality research to get past my “too good to be true” cynicism.
My “Nana” was a believer in the satin pillow case and had beautiful skin into her 80’s. She even traveled with her own satin pillowcase, but used it to protect her hairdo.

I want to at least try these! I get rashes on my face from hotel pillows. I think these pillowcases may be good for me.

Yeah, the pillowcases sound reasonable. It’s the sheets and mattresses that sound far-fetched.
I have a feeling that using any of our own pillowcase in hotels would be a good idea, even if only an ordinary type. At least we wouldn’t have to worry about harsh laundry detergent residue on our faces.
One more thing–not about this but the LIP Injection blog on Yahoo–
(Look here, if anybody else is curious: http://health.yahoo.com/experts/skintype/14693/hot-topic-lip-injections/ )
I was in your neck of the woods a couple of weeks ago and COULD NOT BELIEVE the number of people with really BIG unnatural lips! I don’t notice this so much here in CT.
