In my recent years of skin self-discovery, I’ve become a HUGE skincare & ingredient buff. Not just to properly treat my skin, but in hopes to one day, put this passion into practice, and customize beautiful skin care for many people.
Recently I recieved your book as a birthday gift, and honestly believe ‘The Skin Type Solution’ should be the very foundation and principles of the skincare industry, period.
As an aspiring esthetician, I would really appreciate your professional advice on what NYC schools have the most comprehensive training for diversified products, ingredients, and practices in the skin care industry. Basically, the most complete (unbiased) skincare training in the New York City area.
It would be an honor to hear your feedback and suggestions on where one can start this exciting career.
Thank you!,

Hi,
I bought Refine & Rewind Intense Perfecting Serum no 7 hypoallergenic from Boots that contains :
Cyclopentasiloxane, Water, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone crosspolymer, Cyclohexsiloxane, Arabinogalactan, Glycerin, Arabinogalacatan, Sodium Ascorbyl phosphate, Magnesium sulphate, dimethicone copolyol, phenoxyethanol, sodium PCS, cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 dimethicone, hexyl laurate, polyglyceryl-4 isostearate, retinyl palmitate, medicago sativa (alfalfa) extract, methylparaben, propylene glycol, lupinus albus seed extract, butylparaben, ethylparaben, carbomer, propylparaben, isobutylparaben, polysorbate 20, panax ginseng root extract, morus alba leaf extract, tocopherol, palmitoyl oligopeptide, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3
I am 40 yrs. , Indian and olive skinned with black hair. I am d=20.5 s=42 p=35.5 and t=35.
Is this good ? I am acne prone.
I am thinking of using a serum under my cream at night-was using cellex -c but don’t have time in the morning and it expires quickly and is costly too.
Like one serum to maintain my tight skin that’s nice texture and not oily or greasy.
I also just ordered Lass rosewater - I think it’s pure rosewater from India in a spray bottle-what do you think? It cost me around 22 dollars total w/ shipping-it’s ayurvedic line. I will receive it soon.
I thought you would like to know as an alternative to Chantecaille rosewater.
I wrote to you a while back so I thought I would get a message in my email but it comes here- I was new to the whole system.
Anyways-pls let me know if this is a good serum and if you know any other alternatives .
Thanks for your help.
