In response to question about Heliocare…. It is composed of a fern extract that has been shown to reduce redness (and probably damage) from sun exposure. You can find it by asking your pharmacist. It is behind the counter which means that you can get without a prescription but you have to ask the pharmacist. I know that CVS and Walgreens has it. I take 2 pills one hour prior to golf, tennis or any prolonged outdoor exposure.
Here is the link…

and here is an article I wrote on the science…

I live in a small town with limited shopping possibilities and have to order on line a lot - I found that you can also get Heliocare on line with free 2 day shipping at dermadoctor.com.
Hope this helps!

Thank you Dr. Baumann. That helped, although I must admit that it is complicated for me to decipher some of the “lingo” in there!
I actually sent an email to you regarding your book and the issues I’m having figuring my skin type out. If you get a chance to read it, thanks!

I get 1500 to 2000 emails a day. I try to pick 5 questions a day to answer so I will try to answer asap. Did you look under the q and a section? The answer may already be there. What lingo did you not understand? That will help me know what I can teach you in the futre!
