Mukta Sachdev is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, India working in the field of Dermatology since 1995.

She has trained post MD Dermatology in Florida, USA with Dr.Baumann in the field of Cosmetic Dermatology and in the UK in Practical Dermatology-DPD Cardiff and from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow. She is a regular guest speaker at International, National and Zonal forums sharing her experience in the field of Cosmetic Dermatology.

Her special interests include Cosmetic Dermatology in Skin of Color with Cosmeceuticals and Lasers.

She is currently a Consultant for several Companies and an Investigator for Clinical trials for both pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical products. She also works with laser equipment and investigative procedures including measurement equipment, such as a corneometer, and a dermaspectrometer for the measurement of pigmentation.
