Stretch Marks in Skin of Colour
Stretch marks are often more visible in darker skins than lighter skins and people are more conscious of these nowadays. There are numerous treatments available for stretch marks and it is advisable to start treatment early as these reddish stretch marks respond much better than the older long standing whitish striae.

I would like to make a request for a future blog: I would love to see a list of some common products/actives that should not be used together or with restrictions (never use in the same routine….or only use 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening…..or only use on alternating days) I have read warnings about AHAs/BHAs with retinol products…..Vit C and copper peptides….etc. Thank you…
PS…I am posting this request to all of the dermatologists

Hi
There are several creams avalialbe for the use of Strecth marks- SKin Doctors has a Stretch away cream which works well, and of course a pharma preparation called Contractubex gel to be applied on the stretch marks twice daily.
These procdutcs obviously take time for results to show- at least 2 to 3 months.
Thank you
