I really do like Josh's suggestion of adding the extra category for Skintype Unknown. I think it is easy enough then to title one's subject as Acne or Sunscreen or Sunspots etc. under one's skintype or skintype one borders. A much simpler way of achieving what you're talking about above would be to just have a section "Don't know your skin type? Ask your questions here." and leave the boards as they were with a general forum and the skin type forums. As a side note, people don't always read this blog as often as they do the forums, so this post may not generate the interest and comment it would have if you'd posted it in the forums. You've also got the issue of new people who may not see this post (particularly over time as it moves off the first blog page). It flakes and looks like your skin is peeling. However, has great sun protection. I liked the spf 45 one (I think it was 45) they had before the 70 much better.
